Worked examples
Hours to minutes
- Convert 2 hours and 15 minutes to minutes.
- 2 hours = 2 Ć 60 = 120 minutes.
- Add the extra 15: 120 + 15.
Answer: 2 hours 15 minutes = 135 minutes
Minutes to hours and minutes
- Convert 95 minutes to hours and minutes.
- 60 minutes make 1 hour, leaving 95 ā 60 = 35.
Answer: 95 minutes = 1 hour and 35 minutes
